Great question here, your not alone. Falling asleep quickly and resting well is a good thing. I would suggest going to bed even one hour earlier and dedicating the early morning hours to your astral projection from a well-rested state. There’s a common misconception that we learn lucid astral projection from our sleeping states. When in fact, we stand a much better chance of learning to leave our body if we start from a relaxed waking state and then train the body to move down into a deep focused trance. The boarder land of Theta is where we accomplish the separation, but we want to get here from a waking state, rather than trying to come up from a sleep state.
Meaning that, lying in bed at night is not the best time to actually achieve a lucid astral projection. Early mornings from a rested state are prime times.
